A bowl on white
tells you nothing
about its size.

Homeware is returned for one reason above all others: it was not the size the buyer pictured. Scale, weight, finish and how the thing is actually handled are motion problems, and a catalogue of stills leaves every one of them to the imagination.

Straight off the pass. Both cuts started as a product photograph.

Cooked for

In home and kitchen, video is a returns instrument before it is a marketing one. Capacity, dimensions and material behaviour are what the reviews argue about, and they are exactly what a fifteen second cut settles. Ogamama produces per SKU films that show scale against a hand and a worktop, the material under light, and the product doing the one job it is bought for, from the photography already in your catalogue.

What ships

01

Scale against something known

The product next to a hand, a worktop or a standard object, because a dimension in millimetres is not a picture.

02

Material under light

How the finish reads, whether it is matt or glazed, how it behaves wet, which is what the review section asks about.

03

The one job it does

Poured, closed, stacked, carried. A single use shown properly beats four features listed quickly.

04

Range and set cuts

The piece alone and the piece within its set, so the individual listing and the collection page are both covered.

Why it moves the number

17.7x

More clicks for video than for a static image on a product detail page, measured across fifteen countries.

Amazon Science, Journal of Marketing Analytics, 2023

59.5%

Of marketers name creative production, not budget or targeting, as their main bottleneck.

EMARKETER with Perion, April 2026

A homeware catalogue is wide, visual and full of products that are almost impossible to judge from a photograph. It is the clearest case there is for filming everything rather than filming the hero.

Questions

Do you need the physical product?

No. We work from the product photography you already hold. Nothing is shipped and nothing is rephotographed, which is what makes catalogue coverage affordable.

Can you show capacity convincingly?

Yes, and it is usually the single most valuable shot in the category. Capacity is shown by filling, pouring or stacking against a known reference rather than by a number on screen.

What about a collection that changes every season?

New pieces are added to the existing library on the same specification, so a seasonal range does not restart the project. That continuity is the reason to keep the origin files.

Start here

Judge the work, not the deck.

Most studios answer a brief with a deck and a rate card. We answer it with the film. Tell us what you sell and where you run ads, and the first thing you receive is a finished cut of your own product.

  • One SKU, one finished cut, back within two business days, at no cost.
  • A written production plan: formats, volumes, markets, timeline.
  • No retainer, no lock-in, month to month.

No call required to see the work. The full service log is right here.
