Industry / Consumer goods

Every pack. Every retailer.
One origin file.

Consumer goods is the category where catalogue video breaks first. The assortment is wide, the packs change with every promotion and every market, every retailer wants its own version, and a shoot buys you the ten products the brand manager happened to name that quarter.

Cooked for

A consumer goods range is priced per SKU, sold per SKU and listed per retailer, so it has to be filmed per SKU and versioned per retailer. Ogamama produces the packshot film for every pack, the brand and range content that frames it, and the co-branded versions each retail account asks for, all from the pack artwork already in your library. A studio day cannot follow a two hundred line assortment that re-packs twice a year and ships to eight retailers; a production line can.

What ships

01

Packshot per SKU

Every pack in the range turning on white, at retailer image specification, so the listing on every retailer site carries the same film.

02

Brand content

The range film and the brand film, for your own site, the retailer brand page and the trade presentation, cut from the same library.

03

Co-branding with retailers

The same SKU film re-dressed with the retailer's frame, logo and promotional mechanic, per account, for retail media and in-store screens. One origin file, one version per retailer.

04

Pack changes and market variants

New claim, new format, new promotional flash, new language: the artwork changes, the film is re-rendered, the old cut is retired. FR, DE, IT, BE and PL from one source.

Why it moves the number

$1.06bn

Forecast US in-store retail media spend by 2028, driven by the number of screens retailers are installing rather than by rate increases.

eMarketer forecast, March 2024

59.5%

Of marketers name creative production, not budget or targeting, as their main bottleneck.

EMARKETER with Perion, April 2026

Consumer goods has never doubted that video sells. It has doubted that anyone can film an entire assortment, in every retailer's frame, before the next re-pack. That is an arithmetic problem, and it is the one this studio was built for.

Questions

Our packs change every season. Does that not make the library obsolete?

It makes the old cut obsolete, not the method. We work from the artwork, so a re-pack means re-rendering the affected SKUs rather than rebooking a shoot. That is the whole point of keeping the origin file.

Can you handle several markets with different claims?

Yes. Text, claims and compliance callouts are a layer over the same film, which is how a five market range stays consistent without being shot five times. Localisation is priced per market, not per shoot.

Do you work from artwork files or from retouched photography?

Either. Print artwork is usually cleaner. If what you have is unusable for video we say so before quoting rather than after.

Judge the work, not the deck.

Most studios answer a brief with a deck and a rate card. We answer it with the film. Tell us what you sell and where you run ads, and the first thing you receive is a finished cut of your own product.

  • One SKU, one finished cut, back within two business days, at no cost.
  • A written production plan: formats, volumes, markets, timeline.
  • No retainer, no lock-in, month to month.

No call required to see the work. The full service log is right here.
