Channel / Retail

A shopper walking past
gives you two seconds,
and no sound.

A retail screen is not a small television. It is watched from an angle, at a distance, in daylight, by someone already moving, and almost always in silence. Feed creative repurposed onto it reads as noise.

Straight off the pass. Both cuts started as a product photograph.

Cooked for

Retail screen video fails for reasons that have nothing to do with production quality. Text sized for a phone is illegible at three metres, a hook built on a spoken line dies without audio, and a film paced for a scroll is over before a walking shopper has registered the product. Ogamama produces retail cuts as their own asset, from the same catalogue origin file, with the product held long enough to be recognised and every claim carried on screen.

What ships

01

Screen-legible typography

Text sized and weighted for viewing distance, not for a handset. The single most common reason in-store video does not work.

02

Silent by design

The argument is carried by image and burned text. Nothing depends on a soundtrack that will never be played.

03

Loop-safe edits

No hard opening, no end card that strands the screen on black. A retail loop is entered at a random point, so every point has to work as an entry.

04

Format per fixture

Portrait totems, shelf strips, endcap screens and landscape wall displays are different canvases and are cut separately.

Why it moves the number

72%

Of retail media advertisers name video as one of their main off-site line items, on a channel worth $71.1bn in the United States in 2026 and EUR 13.7bn in Europe.

eMarketer, January 2026 / IAB Europe, October 2025

17.7x

More clicks for video than for a static image where the two are measured against each other on the same surface.

Amazon Science, Journal of Marketing Analytics, 2023

The brands that do this badly are not the ones with the smallest budget. They are the ones who sent the social cut to the store.

Questions

Do you handle the screens themselves?

No. We produce the files to the specification your retailer or network publishes. Hardware, scheduling and playout stay with them, which is also where the accountability should sit.

Our retailer has its own spec sheet. Is that a problem?

It is the normal case and it is the easy part. Retail specs are published, precise and stable, unlike social platform conventions. Send the sheet and the files come back encoded to it.

Can the same SKU serve both store and social?

From the same origin file, yes. As the same export, no. Treating them as one asset is the mistake this page exists to describe.

Judge the work, not the deck.

Most studios answer a brief with a deck and a rate card. We answer it with the film. Tell us what you sell and where you run ads, and the first thing you receive is a finished cut of your own product.

  • One SKU, one finished cut, back within two business days, at no cost.
  • A written production plan: formats, volumes, markets, timeline.
  • No retainer, no lock-in, month to month.

No call required to see the work. The full service log is right here.
