Sponsored Brands Video is Amazon's paid video placement in search results, sitting above the organic fold. It requires Brand Registry, a 6-45 second file, 16:9 aspect ratio only, under 500MB, encoded in H.264 or H.265.
In practice
Two details reject more assets than anything else: the 16:9-only requirement, which invalidates any vertical asset produced for Reels, and the 500MB ceiling, which a 4K thirty-second export routinely exceeds. Both are encoding problems, not production problems, which means a rejected asset almost never needs re-shooting.
